So the nazis who experimented on their prisoners weren't conservatives? That is good news. What was it that scientists were doing to blacks back in the 50's. Weren't they injecting them with Syphilis or something? Good to know they weren't conservatives either. Would an abortion butcher be a scientist? They are evil too. Isn't aids rumored to be created in the lab? I guess the conservatives weren't behind that one either.
Blacks make up most of the prison population per capita. They aren't conservative by in large. Does this mean that most criminals are liberals?

I'm just throwing some ideas out there. Also I don't necessarily believe the premise of 6 percent is true.
Or it could mean that blacks come under more intense scrutiny by law enforcement. It could mean a lot of things, a scientist would collect data in an effort to discover facts.

I don't disagree that blacks come under more scrutiny. But I also think they commit more crimes per capita. Some who call themselves scientists aren't scientists also. For example Globullshit warming dudes in white coats. And evilution dudes in white coats. They use the specter of being scientists to mystify the gullible.

Me either, however, I have met some pretty narrow-view scientists (Masters and above types) during the course of time I've been among some of them ... They can tend to get really specialized, having spent too much time in academia ...

This poll would appear to be quite dubious as to what they actually found. First, there are a lot of things that are called "science" which really aren't, and a lot of people who call themselves scientists who don't really practice science. The vast majority of this category tend to be airhead liberals. OTOH, just about every engineer I know is a conservative, the difference being that you can't just pull things out of your ass like these so called scientists do.

You said he's an "engineer" yet you go on to say he's a scientist at a research institute. Do you even know the difference between a scientist and an engineer. I would certainly expect a "scientist" at a government funded "research" institute to be a liberal.
