It is IMPOSSIBLE to have a value greater than 255 in an 8 bit byte. "Gandolf the White (hat)" didn't recognize the fact, and exposed his ignorance. harrowup has done the same. Just cleaning up the mud.

I read something recently about a C-64 emulator that's available for PC's. Still have my C-64 SX "portable". All 20 pounds (roughly) of it.

I suppose in the deep dark details of those instigating all these rumours, suspicions and hearsay remarks, NONE of us know what the term is about. However, "CT" is popularly known as a conspiracy theory. It is a popular euphemism for those not in the KNOW.

My buddy had an sx64. I wouldn't mind getting one. I also saw a modded sx64 on the internet somewhere before. I also had a c128 and a couple of amigas.
I was more into breaking the "protection" that read a bad sector on the floppy disk that kept beating my disk drive to death. Did it.

I had lots of pirated games. The protection was already removed. I remember the 1541 backup. It took 30 min to copy a disk. Then later then had 2 min copy.
Good point, Fred. Look at Gatlin's own post: Do you note ALL the IFs as opposed to any evidence? Gatlin is hiding something.
