I try not to tell others how to vote, but I will tell you how I vote, and that is for the most conservative candidate on the ballot, party be damned. I wanted to vote for Paul in 2008, but he dropped out. I then voted for the Constitution Party candidate, Chuck Baldwin. This is all, of course, both of us assuming that our votes mean something, and I'm not totally certain that they do. This is where you and I have courteously disagreed before. I say now, as I did then ... I vote for the most conservative candidate on the ballot I feel can win. Maybe that's a compromise ... in the eyes of some, it probably is. But while I think that voting for someone like Baldwin may "feel good" ... I think if all the "feel good" votes and all the "protest votes" had gone to McCain, then Obama would not now be in the WH and continually FTU. I did not and still don't like McCain's stand on many things, but I know for sure that I have yet to find one thing I like about anything Obama stands for. Like you said, I also will not tell people how to vote ... I will tell them why I vote the way I do.
