I will rest easy knowing that Stone has enough info at this point to protect himself if he needs it...if the site owner allows lots of thread stalking from these people, I just leave and find a different forum, where I can have fun. There are basically two types of forum disruptors - trolls and shills. There are several styles of course, but the conman style someone like...say Tater/Gatlin uses is the tried and true "blowing-smoke-up-my-ass" variety. Will Stone succumb to the crocodile smile and flattery of someone like...say Tater/Gatlin? Who knows. As to any site management that encourages this kind of chicanery or the thread-stalking, it really depends on the degree of an owner's seriousness and bent of philosophy. Some measure of courtesy is expected; And if a poster feels the fun, challenge, or freedom to exchange ideas is sucked out of a forum by parasites and canaries, there are of course other options.

Yukon's old password at LP was guessed within minutes. Assuming that someone did guess the simple passwords yukon used at both sites, all the hacker had to do was sign in as yukon and Ibluafartsky and change the passwords. That would take no admin access to do that. While any unauthorized entry into a computer (system) is legally called hacking .. technically the guessing of a password and entering a computer is not hacking. I think Neil is referring to someone having access to all PWs to change and that may not be (probably is not) the case here and at LP. If this is true, then Neil will be able to determine nothing ... is that correct Neil
So the bullshit claims that someone was spoofing an ip and had "hacked" yukon's account and changed the password, keeping yukon out of his account, was BULLSHIT!!!!!!!! If that someone then changes the password so that only he can make posts ... then yukon could not enter LF as he stated he could not. There will be no evidence that happened. Is this correct yukon? The main evidence I see to consider is that yukon has for years at LP and also as long as he has been on LF ... used the same ISP. So during all that time, the question I would ask is why would he go to the trouble to hide his old ISP and go out to find and use a proxy ISP to make come out of the closet? I have no answer for that question ... How is that a checkmate ... please?

Okay ... follow through with me. I went to the Setup page and entered my old password. Then I entered my new password twice. I came back to post to you and I had to enter my new password before I could make my new post. My new password is now in the system. If I sign out, I will need to enter my new password. Why did I not change my password? I don't understand.
