And a hacker is highly unlikely to nuance a character assassination so skillfully. I have erred and put posts meant for another forum into a returning bannee account at Free Republic and know first hand what that panic feels like. Yukon's reactions of mortification and panic reflected accurately how I felt when I reasized I had goofed doing that. I then used a clever ruse and got out of that mess with no one the wiser; just as Yukon tried to do with his hacker fiction. Yukon's nicks, 'Iblewafartski,' and vermin exterminator' accurately reflects the truth that he comes into here not to discuse politics or current affairs, he does it to flame. Most of his posts are flame bait. Flamers always do this because of a false sense of superiority, and an utter distain for others in a forum. He deserves no slack cut him. Had he been a poster in good faith one could relate to as a human being, I might cut him slack dispite how unlikely this was a mistake. But he is rude, hostile, baitive, and anti-social. I just posted my experience with having multiple windows open thus sending the wrong post to the wrong forum. I use Microsoft Word to craft a post, then I cut and paste into the posting box. Seems pretty incredible someone would chose the wrong forum's box doesn't it? But trust me, it happened. That the post was meant for time.com/politics and not Free Republic where it went was a case of posting both places, and doing things too fast while distracted. He could of wanted to get the hyperlink done quickly and clicked on the wrong tab, highlighted and copied without looking closely enough at which tab he chose to get his URL, then quickly pasted it in and posted. And sadly for him, Goldi is too paranoid to allow edits, or Pmail. I know the feeling of mortification from doing that with wrong forum posts. Your head swims with panic and dread. You think right off the bat, "This can't be happening!" And when he reacted to his mistake in subsequent postings, the mindset of "the world just ended" shined through really clearly.
