said Clinton was interested in finding out more about the federal response to the flooding and also about the level of damage to the community. "It’s important to familiarize our officials with the Oneonta community," Davie said. Davie said he was looking forward to having the conversation with Clinton and appreciated the opportunity to update the senator on recovery efforts. Clinton is up for re-election in November. She started her "listening tour" in 1999 at Pindars Corners. Nader said Clinton’s office initiated this visit to Oneonta. Nader had conversations with the senator’s staff late last week and then met with the staff and Secret Service to work out details.
