Hmmmm. I'd say Maher, having trashed Christians for years to the point of it being meaningless as related to gaining attention, decided to up the ante.

A partisan hack who was against attacking muslim nations when Bush did it, but is now for killing muslims because hObama is doing it. He was against it, before he was for it.
I recall a re-run of MASH I saw where this uber right winger named Colonel Flagg... Bill has some explaining to do. If he has been reborn, he needs to explain that, otherwise~ I smell a fox is sheep's clothing. I wouldn't listen to what this guy had to say if he started reciting the Bible.
You must admit he does have a very good point, we do have a problem with Islam... A problem that is not going to go away anytime soon..... And some dumbass douchebag judges in this country want to use parts of Sharia Law as a basis for making some decisions concerning court cases.... not good.....

I'm wondering how this POS maher gets away with overt slandering of the jihad moslem wing and does not seem to have a public death sentence pronounced on him for "blapheming" their religion. Hmmmmm. You suppose the mostards'll go out and waste some UN people for this "hate speech" followed by the hearty condemnation of leftist shillBOT maher on national news sites saying how he was responsible for x-number of deaths? Hmmmmmmmm....let's wait, but not hold our collective breath.

Would the media report it if a fatwa was issued in relation to Maher? I'm not sure. Its going to be interesting to see what, if any, response Maher gets from the jihadists over the next few days/weeks. I seem to recall they went after the Southpark guys not to long ago.
