Me,too. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a P-39 until a couple of years ago. I guess all of them went to Russia so that Russia could "defeat the Nazi's all by themselves".
Those of us who grew up in the jet fighter age are always shocked at how small WW-2 fighters were. They look so big in the movies.

Never been. I have been to a air museum that has a Soviet YAK fighter plane from WW-2,though. They even fly it around. Don't ask me what model,though. It's been a long time and I only know that because it had a big red star it was either a Soviet fighter from WW-2,or a Texaco fighter.
