Chris Matthews Congratulates Media Matters, Himself for Beck Transition

When Glenn Beck announced yesterday that he would be transitioning off his daily Fox TV show, you knew MSNBC started salivating. And so it’s probably no surprise that MSNBC host Chris Matthews devoted a whole segment to the Beck story. Heck, he even invited a guest — the leader of the anti-Beck brigade and Media Matters president David Brock.
Matthews decided to play some clips of Beck and then rehash the same things he’s been saying for the last two years, mainly that Beck is crazy, insane, and a race-baiter. Brock agreed. The two even agreed this is a “victory for civil discourse.”
The funniest part of the clip, though, was when Matthews stroked Brock’s ego by congratulating him for a “successful campaign” against Beck. Brock, naturally, basked in the glory. Still, Matthews couldn’t let Brock take all the credit: “You weren’t alone on that. I was with you and a lot of people thought it was a good idea to end this.”
But maybe the two forgot one key thing: Beck isn’t off the air. Not only will he continue his daily show for some time, but he’ll also be doing specials for Fox.

So why is this turdball so happy about Glenn Beck moving from Fox News to doing his own thing....... I mean if Beck is such a retarded reject as he says why is he so worried about it, why not just ignore Beck.... Well maybe it's because Beck is right in what he has been saying for the past 2 years, and the Left is $hitting itself over him. He is a direct threat to them because he is telling the truth and they don't like it. If too many people get to know the truth then it's all over for them..... and they know it..... If you want to know what a Libtard is scared of just listen to what he has to say, and who it's about!!!!!!
Frankly, Beck's "the world is coming to an end" schtick every day was starting to become grating.
Now, I know I’m not going to change the minds of any of the True Believers…those who read all of Reverend Al’s sermons, and say things like, “You know, global warming can mean warmer OR colder, wetter OR drier, cloudier OR sunnier, windier OR calmer, …”. Can I get an ‘amen’??
Frankly, Beck's "the world is coming to an end" schtick every day was starting to become grating.
If he would change his programming up a little bit it would be better, a little more variety..... But he has a lot of dedicated viewers, so hey whatever....

I agree, but it's his silly antics, junvenile behavior and showmanship that turns me off. If he'd just report the facts in a professional manner I believe more would take him serious. I also think he made the right move leaving Fox, it's a sinking ship...

Their viewership is still 3 or 4 to 1 over the other cable networks..... Even the guy who is on at 5 AM has better numbers than the best Liberal in Primetime... The numbers usually come out on Mondays on the Drudge Report...
