Used to be very common when many babies were born at home through midwives. The baby's birth was then later reported at the hospital so the fact of the baby's birth could be registered with the State.

That would only make sense if the attending doctor or midwife were associated with a hospital, in which case it would be the person attending the birth who would be doing the reporting.

I don't see any religion listed for Trump on his BC, or a space for it. Looks to me like "religion" on a BC is yet another fabrication by the birthers. I don't see a space for it on mine, either.
