Re: "The Kennedys" miniseries: Why did conservative critics love it? « Reply #5 on: Today at 11:08:13 AM »
The irony is Jackie Kennedy came clean about the 'myth of Camelot' admitting it was her CREATION in the wake of JFK's assasination.
What really irks me is the vast majority don't understand why Kennedy was in Dallas in November of 1963. He was going to lose the 1964 Presidential Election cycle, folks.
His mistakes dealing with the Soviets were just the tip of the iceburg. So many don't realize he only beat Nixon by 100,000 votes nationally, nor do they know there were very serious fraud allegations in West Virginia, Illinois, and New Mexico that produced that then record 'narrow margin of victory'. Nor do they know Nixon refused to take it to court, saying 'it would be bad for the nation' to his friends and advisors.

Boofie posted the above lies on a website that he uses to chat to little old ladies as well as to bitch about how he claims that I tried to ruin his business.
A) Jackie Kennedy never uttered a public word about her years in the WH. There is a legend out there that she penned a memoir that is to be released upon Caoline's death.
B) He went to Dallas to settle a rift in the Democrat party there that had arisen between the Connelly wing and the LBJ wing. Connnelly had threatened to support someone to run against first term Senator Ralph Yarborough.
C) Nixon filed several court challenges after losing the 1960 election.
