Many either just didn't see it, or didn't want to believe sally planned this whole scheme, suspending her e-mail address so no one can contact her, planting the idea of her own possible death (how sick is that), claims her site was hacked, the yukon fiasco, personally watching this, I didn't a damn either way but there were some who actually cared if she were dead, actually concerned about her, and what did the bitch do? Instead of politely thanking them for their concern, she pops in playing the part of hero, bans the disruptors gatlin, harrowup..etc, wipes out threads, then starts a BEGATHON thread, playing on the sympathies of those who cared about her, and those grateful she took out the trash!

I've been watching you, just read where your trying to explain to her what went on in her absence. Darlin, that woman is not playing with a full deck when she brings back the disruptors she banned and suspends you for trying to tell the truth...talk about shit for brains, she's a freaking nut case and habitual liar!

Um...I'm not the one who revealed private ID info...and I do be3lieve there are LEO connections that then take info and run background checks...or else they bought memberships at sites that will give info on anyone once they data-mined the info they wanted...
She accused me...then blocked me...then published MY NAME again and said for people to "have at it"!
Whoops...that makes her culpable as well...therefore lawyers will now be involved!
FWIW- Mel posted my name and address on cease and desist letter( from using her screen name), claimed it was from a real lawyer's office in AZ, and that ended up being a huge lie. The office was real, but the claim was false. Mel posted my name a number of times and Goldi never blinked an eye. I don;t even know mel's real name- so I never posted it or slandered the poster mel.
Goldi did believe the threat that I could be sued by Mel, and so she scolded me and left thread up forever.
She has a history of allowing slander. I don't know if it is personal or not.. but there is a history of it.
I am glad if Goldi is alive and well, but there is still something very odd going on over there.

I don't think Goldi really cares about anyone getting slandered or harassed at her site. She really just does not care. People being cyber stalked and outed by real - legal name- has happened before and she looks the other way. That was all I wanted to add to the topic.
I can't imagine anyone taking LP seriously after this last bunch of malarkey. It is obvious that the site is Goldi's playground, and she only has rules for people she doesn't personally like. She is going to do what she wants to do- just like she always has. She is so venomous about the old clown posse posters- and how is she exactly any different than the owners of those old anti- freeper sites? She is allowing people to do the same things at LP. she only seems to get angry when someone stands up for themselves.

Your observation is spot on. It's now morphed into Free Republic's little brother. Goldi is now a female JR. The place even has its separate rules and version of Mods who frivolously censor and ZOT - as well as versions of Howlin and Pukin Dog as "pets."
Regrettably and embarrassingly, I recommended several people check LP out recently. NOT a forum I would any longer want to be associated with.
You did defend Goldi a number of times that I recall. You even defended her to me when I first showed up at LP, years ago, when I made the comment that her style was like JR at times.
I feel very uncomfortable about her treatment of you, truthfully, and do not plan to return there, because of the way she treated you. You were her friend. You were kind to her, and you were supportive.
Even tho it is a simple chat site- I would like the site that I frequent, to have someone with some integrity - at the helm. Stabbing a friend in the back, like what she did to you, is not the integrity I am looking for.
There are far too many other sites to plop down at for a bit, for me to be annoyed anymore. I chose to not be annoyed.
I don't really know anything about Jack's death. I know he wasn't fond of mel. I have a hard time believing she has killers, or had anything to do with Jack's death.
I know mel did tease you and harass you- and helped get you banned from LP. I know that she is heartless and thinks it is funny that you were hurt and frightened, and that she stalked you all over the net. I know she celebrates hurting people. I learned that she has a very long history of hurting people that she knows from online, and I have tied to warn other people too.
No one really wants to listen, buck. So let them find out the hard way.
As far as killing anyone- I can't say that she killed anyone. Why do you think it was her? .
