I moved north to escape the hot weather. I guess I'm just wearing out. When I walk my knees make noise. LOL! I've got too many ties to the north. This is home for me.

Your observation is spot on. It's now morphed into Free Republic's little brother. Goldi is now a female JR. The place even has its separate rules and version of Mods who frivolously censor and ZOT - as well as versions of Howlin and Pukin Dog as "pets." Who the HELL cares about what "yukon" believes anymore. What has been done can't be fixed by any coverup, conspiracy or hope. He is tarnished as the AlaskanQueerQueen with his moniker. Lets pretend for a moment on the LP thread that it was some hacker creating the fabricated story. Wouldn't that hacker have made more comments all the way down the thread attesting to his own homosexuality playing a defensive role? Of course "yukon" would have if and only been hacked as you claim. But that didn't happen. There were only a handful of posts before the thread was pulled; the thread went over 1500 posts as I am told. So explain why a hacker wouldn't keep up the momentum to build the thread into infinity? Relatively speaking, for a long time LP was a pretty fair forum and an advocate of conservative thought - with a core of good people and posters. That balance is totally out of kilter as it makes its statement to be a decidedly pro-Statist, neocon forum. That its management chose to engage in and promote subterfuge compromised its integrity. But sorry - I don't celebrate its demise.
