Why didn't she give him a timeout instead of a banning? He's been a stalwart poster for at least half a dozen years or more.

As of early evening, 9/11/06, she is clearly not in her right mind. She has banned CV66 and generally launched the most out-of-control, multi-post rant that I have ever seen! I am posting in only one of a whole string of rants. Forum members seem to be cowering rather than replying. =========================================== 385. Anyone who posts a thread in the news area to denigrate LP, is going to get banned. That has been a long time practice, since the very early LP ... and it has never changed. He did it as a challenge...and knew exactly what the penalty for that action would be. He got the penalty. Now he's whining about how unfair I am, well, here's how unfair I am: Anyone who posts a personal rant in the news area putting down LP will get banned. Is that CLEAR ENOUGH?? Do you think that there might be some wiggle room in that? Can you guys parse it in a way that it becomes MY fault..because that's what will happen. CV 66 snipe only posted it on the 'town forum' (I think) because that klown, sfvgto, mucked up CV 66's thread in the Biker Bar. CV 66 was defending the Christian Mercuria's honor and all that. He is a reasoned, deliberate poster from what I can tell. He exposed Moldi Smocks but good! She's losing it big time.
And that obnoxious troll sfvgto, who was deliberately and flagrantly spamming threads, is now being protected by Goldie. And what is he doing? Chiming into the thread with a stream of gloating posts. I really am stunned. I had no idea that Goldie was either this incompetent or this unstable. One has to do some reading and study to figure out the big dustup over alleged anti-Semitism (falsely, alleged, apparently) but anyone can see this moron spamming the thread and Goldie winking at it because he is justifying her actions in the larger argument. Goldie may retain the loyalty of the posters who are strongly aligned with her politics. But it is hard for me to see how she can ever recover the respect of posters across the spectrum.
I saw some of that thread with the sharpton spamming. Svgto or whatever it is is an asshole. The guy who started the thread seemed ok. By the way welcome to flame Bastien. How did you hear about this place/
Thanks for the welcome. I was lurking over at LP and somebody mentioned it. (I am not crazy about LP and do not post there, although the place does interest me in bored moments.)

I think that the basic look, similar to FR and LP is just fine...simplicity and performance are, IMO, critical to success. Even though the look is basically the same as FR and LP, I very much like the variation in fonts and colors. I am sure that you have more on your mind here than working Goldi's case....looks like the folks at LP are on her pretty hard. I'll try to chip in a few worthy posts on other topics from time to time.

Yea, I just saw the new thread you put up for that purpose, LOL! Goldi was beginning to sound like a whipped pub late last night...she and a lot of the crowd over there (not all) just dialed it back before the place exploded. And they went peaceably to bed. But Goldi awoke with a fresh case of feisty bitch and starts her morning returning to the lame line that sfvgto's spam was not much an an issue except for some complainers. After this absurd defense of her pet disruptor, she flies a Clintonesque assertion that she will be more alert because, even though sfvgto's antics don't bother her, they could bother someone else. (You know, one of those "complainers.") Why am I not surprised that a sustained spam attack -- and accompanying taunting posts -- by a nasty partisan sharing Goldi's POV, does not trouble her? Her credibility is in shreds. ====================================================== So far, I've seen 3 or 4 people complain about that graphic. I don't think it "screwed up" this thread, as we are all still posting on it, and I did nothing to the graphic. Maybe my PC is different than theirs or yours. Had it appeared as a disruption other than an annoyance, I'd have removed it. But there have been so many issues/annoyances etc. on this thread...I saw it as just one more. I wuz bant from LP about a year ago. Was banned from FR in 2003, but kept coming back with throwaway accounts. Never went back to LP, though. It wasn't worth the effort.

This is my opus as an LP lurker: Goldi has a nasty, defensive personality and is seriously unable to look objectively at matters into which she has plunged herself emotionally. That sfvgto is one of the most annoying morons that I have ever run up on. I believe that his style of relentless, mindless taunting is one that Jews are accustomed to and have a special tolerance for. He reminds me why I have never been so enthusiastic about public enterprises: I prefer private associations that would never dream of letting a little troll like him pass through the door. It's gated communities for me; private schools; private clubs. I like to avoid the sfvgtos of the world except for the occasional necessity of letting them park my car or check my coat. It suits Goldi to have the little toad sfvgto run amuck with infantile behavior to help fend off legitimate criticism of her stewardship as moderator. Have it your way, Goldi. Farewell, LP.
