Not factual. Wolves do in fact kill for reasons other than food. As do cats and dogs.

I have not ever heard of cats or dogs killing for sport.
Cats "play" with mice because they need to soften them up to digest them. It's not "play" to the cat. It's their nature to survive.
When dogs kill - and it's not for food - it's only when trained by humans to do so.
Wolves kill for food, females to protect their young or their pack. Other than that, they do NOT kill for "fun". They don't have that emotion.
