He said Goldi wasn't factual, uh oh ...... They don't kill for sport, only for food. Not factual. Wolves do in fact kill for reasons other than food. As do cats and dogs. Then she got all like, oh ya, you better present your case, mister. Please state your facts. I have not ever heard of cats or dogs killing for sport. Cats "play" with mice because they need to soften them up to digest them. It's not "play" to the cat. It's their nature to survive. When dogs kill - and it's not for food - it's only when trained by humans to do so. Wolves kill for food, females to protect their young or their pack. Other than that, they do NOT kill for "fun". What an interesting topic. Cats soften up mouses by playing with them? I think I've heard it all now.
I've seen cats kill bullfrogs for sport in my driveway when they came out of the culvert they live in to hop around on rainy nights.
