Which profession is worthy of the highest salary? The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey reveals that among a variety of occupations, 30% of Americans think that teachers should get paid the most. Military personnel and doctors lag behind at 14% and 13% respectively. Just 10% believe business leaders should get the highest salary.

If that's so then Government Schools could broadcast their star teachers' classes primetime and they could make the same money as NFL, NBA, professional baseball, American Idol, and all the other hit shows and athletic events make, then they can leave our money alone and fund themselves.

Great. Then Americans should stop going to movies. I have. (I've been to one movie in the last 18+ months) Supply and demand. That works. Americans demand entertainment. So, the supply gets paid more. It's that simple.
