(CNSNews.com) - Mexican President Felipe Calderon yesterday joined President Barack Obama in calling for comprehensive immigration reform, a term used to describe reform that includes granted legal status to illegal aliens in the United States.
We have also discussed immigration, an issue on which both countries have responsibilities, Obama said, standing next to Calderon during a White House joint news conference.
As I told President Calderón, I remain deeply committed to fixing our broken immigration system with comprehensive reform that continues to secure our borders, enforces our laws--including against businesses that break the law--and requiring accountability from undocumented workers, Obama said. And we have to conduct this debate in a way that upholds our values as a nation of both laws and immigrants. So Im eager to work with Republicans and Democrats to get this reform done, which is vital to the U.S. economy.
We need to lob a few block busters into Messico to give them something to think about.
Well, [war's] got to do something for attention, his multiple personalities aren't speaking to him any more, and his imaginary friends keep finding excuses not to come over.
I think I read somewhere that we were throwing softballs at them while they were shooting live ammunition at our guys. Not to worry though. Rumor has it that Obama has authorized regular baseballs now.

Surely that last Pubby president with his Pubby House and Senate could have put this to rest since their base was so against amnesties. I guess they chose to follow the lobbyist money instead...... so insanity is expecting them to do anything different in the future.

Bush isn't in office anymore. I would expect something different if we had Rand Paul in the White House.

Yeah right and just what congress would go along with him or his dad? The one that corporations wanting cheap labor and bodies to fill their rentals now that the Baby Boomers have moved on, take to lunch everyday?
