Angry leftists have been protesting at the capitol for two weeks. The left has ramped up their vitriol for two weeks- NOW THIS-- Police say they have found live ammunition scattered on the ground around the Wisconsin Capitol. University of Wisconsin Police Chief Susan Riseling says 41 rounds of .22-caliber ammunition were found Thursday morning scattered at several locations outside the Capitol. The revelation came as state attorneys asked a Dane County judge to order the Capitol closed for a security sweep. The judge made no immediate ruling on the request. Protesters are in their third week of demonstrations against Gov. Scott Walker's proposal to repeal nearly all collective bargaining rights for most public employee unions. State officials said about 100 protesters remain in the building, which has had limited access since Sunday. Officials said that law enforcement officers do not carry those type of rounds. Wisconsin police told reporters today that they found live ammunition scattered outside the capitol. The left has been holding violent protests at the capitol for weeks.

More... Most of the bullets were found near the State Street entrance to the Capitol and around the King Plaza.

Heh, as if people who hate the protesters wouldn't seed the site to cast aspersions on them. I mean, they are claiming now there is six million dollars damage to the Capitol's marble because of notes taped to the walls, so as long as they are grasping for straws to demonize people, why not throw some ammo around too?
The damage the anarchists did to the capital are going to make powerful political ads.
Damage from taping stuff to the walls? It's obviously an extreme exaggeration. As for the bullets, I would say that an anti-union activist would have more interest in doing that to vilify people than protesters there on the behalf of unions would in doing something that would destroy their good reputation for keeping the peace in this marathon protest.
Loughner was a Republican.
