I am fully qualified do do infantry tasks. But I would never kill wounded, or captured enemy personnel. Heh, I've spent many boring hours sitting in ambushes waiting for someone to walk into the kill zone to fire them up in training, and would do that in an armed conflict. Just as I've been taught to assault in the direction of an ambush pulled on me and my unit. Target acquisition does not require someone to shoot at you first in an armed conflict.
