Fox News’ Bret Baier just announced that the network has put a 60-day suspension on the paid contributor deals with both Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum — who are both considering a run for president in 2012.

“The suspension is effective for 60 days, then on May 1st, their contracts will be terminated unless they notify FOX they are not running for president,” said Baier, reporting from Washington, DC during “Happening Now.”

Fox News host Mike Huckabee and contributor Sarah Palin, whose names are also being considered as 2012 GOP candidates, are not included in this 60-day suspension.

“This had been contemplated from the start, from the very beginning, but that is effective today — the suspension of the contributor arrangement for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum,” said Baier. Subscribe to *Elections 2012*

FOXNEWS or FOXTV is not about "freetrade" whether it is an economic characteristic or direct attribute of America. Nor is its commentary about political policy and matters concerning the basic FACTS of the US Constitution which include individual liberties and freedoms.

If you notice, their commentaries ALWAYS include law professors, lawyers and obscure scholars presenting information that trumps individual rights, liberties and freedoms in a way that furthers propaganda for the nose bleed sections of politically starved people thinking they have a singular majic elixir.

Fuck 'em. Fuck their day by day entertainment. I don't believe ANYTHING they say.

And why? Lets take a view about how America is going. The Bush administration ran it downhill while FOX played a cheerleader and America is still going downhill while FOX plays with the 0bama administration.

All the talking heads in the world can't bring America back from the cold gurney at the morgue.

I love that man from the perspective that he is a realist with a vast background that broadcasts our individual capabilities. I rarely watch FOX though. The many and varied propaganda programs that are offered have snuffed my interest in tuning in.

Fox News Wins Lawsuit To Misinform Public – Seriously

http://www.philly2philly.com/politics_community/politics_community_articles/2009/6/29/4854/fox_news_wins_lawsuit_misinform_public

Coincidentally, all mainstream news organizations missed a piece of information that basically changed journalism as we knew it.

Fark.com had to bring this one to our attention. On Friday, they linked to the blog page of CeaseSPIN.org, a website “dedicated to uniting voices in support of a return to more objective, truthful, fair, balanced, relevant and representative news reporting.”

The CeaseSPIN headline gets right to the point: “Fox News gets okay to misinform public, court ruling.”

Here’s the rundown: On August 18, 2000, journalist Jane Akre won $425,000 in a court ruling where she charged she was pressured by Fox News management and lawyers to air what she knew and documented to be false information.

The real information: she found out cows in Florida were being injected with RBGH, a drug designed to make cows produce milk – and, according to FDA-redacted studies, unintentionally designed to make human beings produce cancer.

Fox lawyers, under pressure by the Monsanto Corporation (who produced RBGH), rewrote her report over 80 times to make it compatible with the company’s requests. She and her husband, journalist Steve Wilson, refused to air the edited segment.

In February 2003, Fox appealed the decision and an appellate court and had it overturned. Fox lawyers argued it was their first amendment right to report false information. In a six-page written decision, the Court of Appeals decided the FCC’s position against news distortion is only a “policy,” not a “law, rule, or regulation.”

What about Judge N. ?

His books are good. I would recommend every one of his books, that I have read anyway. Constitutional Chaos, A Nation of Sheep, and at least one other that I can't recall.

But Fox News did not suspend Huckleberry and Palin. Why???

I'll bet that they told Roger Ailes that they are definitely NOT going to run. This should be interpreted as big news.

The GOP will do what they always do -- nominate the guy who lost last time. That's RINO Romney. He will go down in flames against Obama.

If Romney is the nominee, I will do what I usually do - vote for whatever third party candidate I like.
