Democratic lawmakers and unions in Wisconsin are rejecting the notion that civility is important in politics.

State Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald has ordered the Wisconsin State Patrol to round up Democratic state senators who did not show up when the Senate was called to session Thursday morning to vote on a bill stripping public employees of collective bargaining rights.
Republicans are pushing the bill proposed by Gov. Scott Walker. Thousands of people clogged the halls of the Statehouse for a third straight day in opposition.
Observers in the balcony shouted “Freedom! Democracy! Unions!” as Republicans tried to start debate.
Freedom, Democracy….Unions???
Governor Walker says “Bottom line, the state’s broke.”
But…they don’t care if the state goes broke, you see. That’s the problem here.

They can protest all they want. They also need to take pay cuts. There is no reason that people who are struggling should be forced to pay for their benefits. We simply cannot afford it anymore. If they don't like it fire them all. I'm sure other qualified people would happily take their places.
If they did keep the right to collective bargaining. Any deals should be put to the voters to approve. The voters are their employers.
So we should keep paying them money even when there is no money. You liberals take the money from regular working folks to fund the union people who are much lazier then normal working people. Much lazier. I've witnessed all my life.

So the governor wants the people who earn the money to have some for their own retirement plans instead of funding the unions and not being to fund their own?
I have no problem with them keeping collective bargaining. They still keep it under the governors plan. It just has to be approved by their employers. The voters. Why do you hate people voting?
