Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, in which President Obama told him that he was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the stepson of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda. Not surprisingly, this story did not hit the main stream media. I have looked into this report for several days, before posting blogs on this report. Here is what I have found: According to Israel Today here...By the way, this is a .pdf file. Here is the passage from the May 2010 issue of 'Israel Today.' It is on page 3 in the article titled "Obama, a 'Strategic Catastrophe,'" by Aviel Schneider: The feeling among the Israeli public is that Obama is appeasing the Muslim world at the expense of Israel. "The American President told me in confidence that he is a Muslim," said Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Nile TV. Poster Comment: The muslim religion is the religion of Antichrist.

First of all, I've heard the argument that down through the ages, people have thought their generation would be the one to see the end of the world and that this is just another case of people panicking, BUT the world has never "gone global" before and that is part of the prophecies. The "eagle" is part of prophecy as well. While wars have happened throughout time, we did not have the technology to KNOW about them all (wars and rumors of wars...). The Bible teaches "By their fruits ye shall know them." Obama says he is a Christian, and yet he does not bear the FRUIT. What is scarier than the thought that he lied about his birth place is the way people just sat back and accepted it. Could that be just one of many lies so many are overlooking or defending with ignorant vehemence? Obama's popularity is low right now and I know many who voted for him are sorry they did. I believe the nation is poised to get Dems out of office, but will the votes matter or will the votes be tampered with? Even worse, will people sit back and not even notice? *shudder* An aside: Wow, Ilya. Is that how you spend your time on the internet? In the 1970s Hal Lindsey predicted that Christ would return by 1988. He even wrote a book entitled -- "The 1980's: Countdown to Armageddon". We're still waiting. Dispensationalists like Lindsey are teaching heretical views of Bible. Anyone who reads the Bible knows that you shouldn't date set. The word says that it will come like a thief in the night and no one knows when it will happen. In Matthew chapter 24 it does give some signs though. So it is possible to know the season but not the exact date. Could be wrong but it sure seems like the season.
