Donald's probably right. I'll vote for RP or Trump in the GOP primary, if they run. And probably third party in the general, once I see the neocon libturd they nominate.
Of course he's right. James Garfield was the only sitting Congressman ever elected President. It happened in 1880. He was assassinated a few months later.
We don't even like electing sitting Senators. Obama was the first one since Kennedy 48 years earlier. The last one before Kennedy was Warren Harding in 1920. Before Harding? None.
Americans like electing sitting Governors or ex-Governors.
