BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - Records amount of snow have fallen across the state, and now records for low temperatures are starting to fall too. In fact, some temperatures across the state Thursday morning were lower than the North Pole which was a balmy 16 degrees. In Bartlesville, the temperature reached 28 degrees below 0, an all-time record for Oklahoma. It also sets an all-time record for the city. The previous state record was -27 in Watts in 1930 and -27 in Vinita in 1909. Tulsa has been as cold as 9 below which a daily record for the city, the coldest temperature in Tulsa in 15 years. The record for the Tulsa is -16 set an all-time record on January 22, 1930.
