Steelers win.

I put $20 down against a colleague. Not because I'm a Steelers fan, but because I hate Green Bay more...

Besides... I wanted to tweak him a little- we're in LA, and he's walking around in a Green Bay leather jacket, so... why not? Bet enough to make it fun, and see what happens! ;)

Only an opium-smoking FOOL would think that when you've maxed out your credit cards, and can no longer make minimum payments, that raising the limits on the credit is a good idea. Either that, or you're a socialist ass-hat, who thinks "There will be no more money when the U.S. dollar has no value, until that time we can keep printing more." And yes, that IS from LF's answer to Ben Bernanke, go65, our disfunctional, delusional socialist of the forum.

"Post Your Super Bowl Predictions Here"!

FWIW~

Badeye predicts:

"Here's how I see it. Steelers won't be able to run against the Packers defense. With a 2nd string center, Roethlisberger will be getting hit often up the middle, which will cause him to just throw the ball up. the simple fact - which you ca...n look up - is in both Super Bowls, Benny simply freaks out and doesn't play well. I expect this time will be another sub qb rating performance out of him.

Rogers has simply been the best quarterback in the playoffs to date. He'll have time to throw. Packers 31, Stellers 17".

GO PACKERS!!!!!!!

I'm predicting the homeless couple from Wisconsin that won the Super Bowl tickets and all-expense paid trip to Dallas and actually went instead of selling the package for 10 grand or so will continue to be homeless.

We all know they won't be "going home to Wisconsin" because they don't have a home to go to.

If I had anything to do with it,they would also be cut off from all financial aid like food stamps and free temporary housing.

Have you ever taken any oxy-contin,Fred? If you haven't,you should cut Limbaugh some slack on this one. I used to make fun of him for his oxy addiction, too. Right up until I broke my right hand a couple of years ago and the doc at the ER gave me a oxy script for the pain. I had been hurting at the "I want my mama!" level due to both the break and all the arthritis in that hand, and 20 minutes after I took the first one I caught myself giggling like a schoolgirl and thinking,"You know what? I bet one more of these babies and a coffee cup or two of straight whiskey would really hit the spot!". I went straight to the bathroom and flushing the remaining 19 oxy pills right down the toilet and haven't made fun of Limbaugh over this since.

But not the whiskey.

You are missing the point. That same bottle of whiskey has been in my house since the early 80's without me drinking it,or even thinking about it until I took the 1 oxy pill.

Had the flu recently and the Doc gave me ten pills for the aches and pain so I could sleep. I dropped six pills at his place while riding by on my bike and he called me later just to tell me that nobody does that usually and wanted to know why I only took four. I told him I only needed four.

When I broke my arms I got the same sirprised reaction when I gave an almost full pill bottle back before I checked out of the VA Vancouver, WA physical rehab unit.

I don't want the nightmare of a visitor mining my medicine cabinet while using the can at my place. And I don't consider them a commodity to wheel or deal with.

Pain pills do something to reality I can't handle well. I don't see what people see in them. At least pain is real, and it didn't make me drop out of Phase one of the SFQC. ;-)

Not only that, but pain is your friend because it reminds you that you are injured and to not abuse the injury until after it heals.

What about the ones out of your house?

They bother me not at all. I drank for effect, not because of a craving for alcohol itself.

The only thing that ever really got the best of me was tobacco. If I ever face a bigger challenge that quitting smoking I am screwed.

I have not been into casual use of alcohol since getting out of the Army last time in 90. I just drank there as it is a tribal thing as you know, and in SF one has to bond, you have no choice, or things don't work.

I have not drank ANY alcohol for several years - I don't keep track because I don't care to bother making the effort involving something I dislike like alcohol.

Tobacco I never did or do, and cannabis I have not done in a long time as I got tired of how it made me lazy and spacey. Coffee is the only thing resembling a drug I do these days.

I saw Boof's prediction when I booted this AM.

FWIW, Roethlisberger, in the 2008 season, averaged around 18 completions on 30 attempts. for 206 yards

IN the Super Bowl he was 21 for 30 for 256 yards.

His passer rating for all of 2008 was 91.5.

His passer rating in the Super Bowl?

91.5.

The Steelers averaged 22 pts a game that season. They scored 27 in the Super Bowl.

Just sayin'...
