Ronald Reagan appointed Vinson to the bench in 1983, a very fitting present to honor the 100th birthday of Reagan. By my count three Federal Judges have ruled against Obamacare while one has ruled for Obamacare. These rulings taken all together this is very good news because I am told it could fast track the appeals process to the U.S. Supreme Court since the Supreme Court takes a special interest in cases that have been ruled on differently by separate federal district courts. This could take a couple years though for the case to work its way up to the Supreme Court even if it is fast tracked. As I said months ago, Anthony Kennedy will ultimately get to decide if the ACA's individual mandate is constitutional or not. In both cases where States were plaintiffs, the rulings have been that the individual mandate is unconstitutional. The other cases were individuals or groups, I believe.
