Frank Lutz has made his career coming up with spin words to fool the average rube on behlaf of the GOP. Inheritance Tax becomes a "death tax" for example.

When did the purpose of the SITU address become "to bring America together"? The Constitution says "He shall from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the union, and recommend to their consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient". If the address was "flat" it was because Obama was speaking from the middle. I wouldn't expect that to ever be enough for the radical right.

"Medicare for all" doesn't have the impact of "death panels". Democrats need to learn how to craft a slogan that communicates to message that if this isn't done, you're going to die.
