Communism upholds the notion of a stateless society with everyone in it being equal. Supposedly no one is rich, or poor. I disagree, there is a profound difference between the two; as in Communism, the state has custodial control of everything, but in Fascism the state control. So, as I see it we are arguing over the difference between ownership and control. You seem to think they are two sides of the same coin, but Communism is more a socio-economic model that upholds an allegedly classless, stateless and egalitarian society. Fascism is more an ideology that works to bring together radical and authoritarian nationalism. I understand where you are going with your points about the two systems, but this is what I learned as a poli-sci major at The University of Oregon, which I know you would consider a left wing ideology training camp. Which you are welcome to do, but I learned to think freely there and was a student, not a pupil learning propaganda to regurgitate on command. ;-)

Socialism isn't a form of government so much as a public policy. They are socialist democracies. The concept of taxation and entitlement has ruined them and that is why you see them backing off it. "Christian democracy" is also a joke as applied there now. To start with, there is nothing about Christianity that deals with State policy, so the term was always an oxymoron. And now the policies are every bit secular in nature. The US is getting more socialist, too, and it will ruin the US, too if it continues.

Since there were more than 10 people there ratpacking and making multiple posts to me there was no reason for me to go back because I couldn't respond to their attacks with just 10 posts. Unless of course I surrendered and begged for forgiveness for being rational. One post would do that.

I was banned from the Huffington Report after posting ONE post. I didn't even last that long as Salon. Seems like they had a watch on my screen name. I registered,got the approval,and then got the message "this screenname is banned" when I went to make my first post. BTW,I am NOT banned at the People's Forum. I just don't post there because I am limited to 10 posts per day,and it is impossible to respond to all the attacks on me with just 10 posts. And to be completely truthful,I probably wouldn't post there anymore even if I had full posting privileges. As I have written right here on this thread,I no longer have the patience needed to deal with admitted socialists and various other forms of Euroweenies.
