Add to the list Cheyenne Kimball, a young singer/songwriter from Frisco.
Cheyenne Kimball has starred in her own reality show, written more than 200 songs and has a debut album, "The Day Has Come," that entered the Billboard 200 album chart this week at No. 15.
Not bad for someone who's still a few days shy of 16 years old.

In many ways, she's already a star, thanks to her MTV reality show, Cheyenne, which has tracked the last few months of her life, leading up to the release of her debut CD, The Day Has Come, which hit stores Tuesday.
Advance word on the album painted a somewhat inaccurate picture, however. Sheryl Crow's name was being tossed around as a strong influence. But there's nothing on Day that's as earthy or organic as Crow's work. Instead, this is more in the vein of Clarkson or Michelle Branch or Avril Lavigne: Pop songs draped in power chords and anthemic choruses.
Kimball, who turns 16 this month, had a hand in writing every song (she plays guitar, too); she also collaborated with heavyweight songwriters such as Billy Mann and John Rich of country duo Big & Rich. Because of this, she's got a bit more credibility than other young singers who are simply mouthing words written by others.
