Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says proven technology will be used in the future. She says technology will be tailored to local terrain and population density. Napolitano said Friday there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution to the country's border security needs. Congress ordered the high-tech fence in 2006 amid a clamor for more border security. To: Brian S (#0) The 0bama administration has done nothing about ending anything concerning Congressional oversight about this issue. What happened was that Congress didn't further budget spending last year. This is why the project was/is finished. I want to point out that I have a friend that is the general contractor for the construction effort.
