Title: Obama Administration Ends High-Tech Border Fence

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Obama administration officially has ended a high-tech southern border fence boondoggle that cost taxpayers about $1 billion. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says proven technology will be used in the future. She says technology will be tailored to local terrain and population density. Napolitano said Friday there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution to the country's border security needs. Congress ordered the high-tech fence in 2006 amid a clamor for more border security. The project yielded only 53 miles of protection.

The 0bama administration has done nothing about ending anything concerning Congressional oversight about this issue. What happened was that Congress didn't further budget spending last year. This is why the project was/is finished. I want to point out that I have a friend that is the general contractor for the construction effort. It is still ongoing, too; although they are winding down their efforts for the many resources about the tasks.

Good! What total fiasco that abomination was. I'm sure the contractors made out just fine, though. They always did during the corrupt Bush years.

Due to the anonymity of internet forums such as these, there appears a tendency of people to either pretend something they are not, or alternatively, they let the mask off, and show their true nature... It's easy to determine which camp a poster falls into; the consistency of their posts is the key. Those who are all over the board and get caught in their lies, are the ones who are pretending to be someone other than who they are. Fartboy is a perfect example of an internet pretender. He posts nothing of substance, attempts to goad others into emotional responses, and constantly contradicts himself, when he actually attempts to post a response beyond the internet taunting... He's a fake. You're a perfect example of someone who shows his true colors; you spend a shit-load of time on this forum, posting a plethora of articles. A few articles in the mix are interesting, but without a particular agenda. But most of them push the socialist agenda. Your statements and admissions confirm my observations. You're a TRUE socialist. You identify with Stalin, Lenin and Adolf Hitler- ALL of them socialists. Being a socialist means, by definition, you are insane.
