Jets coach Rex Ryan calls foot-fetish videos a 'personal matter'
A day after a series of bizarre foot-fetish videos were made widely available of a woman who looks like the wife of Rex Ryan, the Jets coach dodged questions on the matter today, saying the issue is a "personal matter."
Asked by reporters during a media conference call this morning, Ryan said, "I know you need to ask, it's a personal matter.”
The four videos posted yesterday afternoon on the sports gossip site Deadspin.com show the woman displaying her feet for a cameraman who sounds like he could be Ryan.
Known for putting his foot in his mouth in the past, Ryan will likely be asked about the videos again at his Wednesday news conference this afternoon ahead of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
In one of the videos, the woman, who is a car is a dead ringer to Michelle Ryan, the coach's wife of 23 years, is seen showing off her bare feet while sitting in a car.
Deadspin reported the woman in the videos goes by the Internet name "Ihaveprettyfeet" who in a profile on a foot-fetish website has more than looks in common with Ryan's wife. Similar to Michelle Ryan, the 47-year-old is a housewife with a master's degree, is a Virgo who and once lived in Ellicott City, Md.
The Maryland town is the same place the Ryan family lived when Rex was an assistant coach for the Baltimore Ravens.
Deadspin also reported sex site Alt.com has a profile for "ihaveprettyfeet" that discusses a couple interested in threesomes, among other activities.
