Obama is telling members of Congress that failure to pass the tax-cut legislation could result in the end of his presidency, Rep. Peter DeFazio (Ore.) said. "The White House is putting on tremendous pressure, making phone calls, the president is making phone calls saying this is the end of his presidency if he doesn't get this bad deal," he told CNN's Eliot Spitzer.

So.. this is what our policies are all about? Keeping Obama in office or ending his presidency? What an uterally stupid and desparate thing to say. He's supposed to be OUR president, we're not supposed to be his surfs. If what he said is true though, I'll take the tax hit just to get him out of office.

So instead of allowing tax breaks that our government cannot afford we are now allowing both that and extra unemployment that we also cannot afford to pay…combinin g this with the ridiculous tax bill that was intentionally not put completely into effect until after he was supposedly going to get reelected and it seems to me that Obama couldn't give a S*** what happens to this county, our debt, or our people, as long as he looks good to the idiots who believe every word he tells them. I swear he could say the sky is purple and half the country would believe him.

Obongo couldnt get elected Dog Catcher again. His presidency is a lame duck. The only thing he can do at this point is reverse course and win back a few friends. The experiment has failed.
