Most democrats still think they are right about President Bush, even claim that at least Barack Obama is better than Bush, but that's not really correct at all. Let me explain. You see, not long ago, I was having a conversation with an acquaintance who didn't care for President Bush or President Obama, and he didn't have very nice things to say about either. Still, when he went into a near tirade over George W. Bush, I explained that; there is nothing really wrong with Bush II, it was the media who changed your perception, and/or perhaps your political persuasion, just like they trashed Bush Sr.'s VP- Dan Quayle. What he couldn't spell? Really, you mean like 95% of the humans that send emails? Without spell check they are all screwed!
Indeed, I always like to ask people who trash President George W. Bush, because I had to listen to it for 8-years non-stop, if they'd ever met the man. Only a couple of them ever said yes, other than shaking his hand at a political fundraiser event maybe. Even so, it seems so many folks were so influenced by the negative media, that it got to be ridiculous, and the hate speech was unbelievable if you will recall. It was so bad in liberal blue areas, that you couldn't even mention President George Bush's name without getting an earful.
Now the Democrats cannot understand what everyone has against President Obama, amazing how that political pendulum swings isn't it? Anyway, I asked my acquaintance; since you've never met President Bush, yet feel it is okay to trash the gentleman's name, why not read his book and hear his side of things before passing judgment. Nope, my acquaintance was not interested, rather wishing to cling to his run-ons, and decision.
Okay so, after reading three of Barack Obama's books and President Bush's book, I find myself in judgment of the two Presidents, although it's hard to compare really, as they are very different in many ways, and the same in others, which was surprising. Still, I can safely say, that if I had to choose, I'd choose President Bush over President Obama any day of the week.
