Title: How’s that Hope and Change Working? President Bush’s Approval Rating is Higher than President Obama’s!

I can hear liberals whimpering and pissing all over themselves. In under two years, Obama is tanking as the hope and change train has driven the country off the tracks. Will the left blame Bush his Obama’s busted lip?

Politico reports:

George W. Bush’s job approval rating as president has spiked to 47 percent, according to a Gallup poll released Monday.

That’s 1 point higher than President Barack Obama’s job approval rating in a poll taken the same week. This is the first time Gallup asked Americans to retrospectively rate Bush’s job performance. And it was a stunning turnaround from his low point of 25 percent in November 2008. The 47 percent number is 13 points higher than the last Gallup poll taken before Bush left office in 2009 and the highest rating for him since before Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Amazing. It only took Owe-bama 23 months to make the Bush Era look like 'the good old days'.

It took Carter almost 30 months.

Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit.

Amazing. It only took two years for the previous worst president in history to be replaced with this one. I can't wait to see what garbage gets voted in in 2012.

And thank you.

Again. The polls stopped dropping on bush43 at 25%. And month after month kept being revised higher.

Just like this last revision.

See, that's why the State hates WikiLeaks with a fiery passion.

The Empire has been exposed for all to see.

I start from this basic principle:

[F]rom the first historic forms of the State, the State has always formed and will always form alliances with certain individuals and segments of society -- to which the government bureaucrats will provide favors and special dispensations, and to the severe disadvantage of those individuals and groups that are not so favored. ... [O]ur contemporary tribalists believe, without any history or evidence whatsoever to support the claim, that if only members of their tribe were in charge, they would act in saintly and disinterested ways, and they would be uniformly non-venal, non-self-seeking, and non-human. Good luck with that. It has never happened and it never will, barring a fundamental transformation of what it means to be human.

I approve of George W. Bush being an ex-President.

On January 3, 2011 the GOP assumes responsibility for deficit spending.

I approve of George W. Bush being an TWO TERM ex-President.

Fixed it for you.

Owe-bama won't be.

Yeah, people said that about Clinton and Reagan after mid-terms as well. Given that you also predicted 70+ seats and control of the Senate for the Republicans, you might want to take a break from making political predictions for a while.

Great example of liberal math in action.

435 Federal races...I got 12 wrong.

Oh I'm so embarrassed (eyes rolling)

I don't recall anyone saying Clinton or Reagan were doomed to one term that was credible back then btw. Neither of them were dealing with a 9% unemployment rate that had lasted longer (month to month) than at any time since 1931, as Owe-bama is today.

Neither one of them had more Americans unemployed than at any point in US History, as Owe-bama does today.

But its okay, you can pretend otherwise, just as you did for over a year related to the mid terms.
