SHABESTAR, East Azarbaijan, July 12--President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that dispensing justice has always been among the toughest part of establishing an Islamic society. The norm is that cynical opportunists, long linked to public funds, become furious and create obstacles to establishment of justice, he told a gathering of the people of Shabestar, IRNA reported. The president emphasized that citizens should oversee the process of establishing justice and prepare the ground for the establishment of a just political system. He stressed that the duty of the people is to work for the advancement of the country. This goal can be accomplished through unity, benevolence, faith in God Almighty and diligence, he said. The president stressed that without justice, which is the very spirit of the Islamic Revolution, Iran will not advance. Justice means all parts of the country advance concurrently and that national facilities and public funds are distributed fairly nationwide É Today a historic opportunity for advancement of Iran has come our way. We have a very suitable opportunity for developing Iran and strengthening it by virtue of our devoted and intelligent youth, he said. Ahmadinejad noted that the budget allocated for Shabestar has increased by twofold. The local authorities are duty-bound to use this budget in a healthy, correct and speedy manner for ensuring the development of the region. And it is necessary that red tape and bureaucracy are confronted so that the youth can get married and employment more conveniently, he said.
