Mediaite quotes MSNBC President Phil Griffin as saying, "I became aware of Keith’s political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay." Politico reported Friday: Olbermann, who acknowledged the contributions in a statement to POLITICO, made the maximum legal donations of $2,400 apiece to Conway and to Arizona Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. He donated to the Arizona pair on Oct. 28 — the same day that Grijalva appeared as a guest on Olbermann’s “Countdown” show. Grijalva, a prominent liberal who was just declared a winner in his race Thursday night, was in a tight contest against tea-party-backed candidate Ruth McClung when he appeared on "Countdown" — one of several appearances he made on the show. NBC has a rule against employees contributing to political campaigns, and a wide range of news organizations prohibit political contributions — considering it a breach of journalistic independence to contribute to the candidates they cover. I don't view this as a disaster, just a usual mid term adjustment exacerbated by economic times. I witnessed Mt. This was more like one of those many small landslides you see in Oregon on clear-cuts during the rainy season. Landslides you would never know were ever there several years down the road as the new trees spring up into full robust life after struggling for some years after a human with a hoedad planted them there. This is just normal American political realities as they have always been in recant decades, nothing more. The only thing wrong with that sentence you cite is that I was southwest to the eruption on that large finger of Oregon that is there because the Columbia River turns to the north near Portland, not southeast. Which is no big thing. As your mis-spelling isn't either. You are trying too hard to bait, and this is just not going to get you anywhere. Look at the jumble of this one sentence post by you. I hope you see that that makes little sense and is poorly written.
