Seeing the Simcox scam? American Patrol"s comments on the rather glaring discrepancy in what Chris Simcox of MCDC claims to be building (left) and what is actual reality... (the photo on the right) and the MASSIVE difference in cost are below. Latest investigative article on Chris Simcox: Article-Video-Link UPDATE: As of June 22 there is no change in the status of this issue other than American Patrol Report observations derived from overflying the site in their Border Hawk M and taking GPS based measurements which indicate the 5 strand barbed wire fence is only 2.2 miles in length and there has been no additions. Pretty straightforward. We agree with American Patrol. Chris Simcox is collecting massive amounts of money and not routing it out to the Minuteman Projects. Our only question is why are folks that mean well and want to contribute STILL sending money (lots of money!) to Chris Simcox when there have been many indications in the past of improper distribution of donations submitted to MCDC. Improper as in they get as far as Chris Simcox and promptly vanish. Vanish as in no money to the volunteers in the field that are depending on those donations for the supplies and equipment necessary to keep them safe in the face of the drug smugglers and border violators. ANOTHER UPDATE! June 24, Chris Simcox (Minuteman Civil De-fence Corps is not done yet! I personally received conformation that the following addition to the Simcox Fantasy Fence Scam article by American Patrol Report is absolutely accurate! Hold on to your hats, Chris Simcox is requesting donations of, get this!.. Fifty Five MILLION Dollars more to "build" additional Fantasy fencing. Here is the APR story... Simcox escalates scam? Or perhaps UFO's? Folks, if Texas Minutemen ever received donations equaling one-hundredth of what Chris is asking for, we could conduct border operations FOREVER. Additionally, we did a bit of checking and what we found was even more damning. According to the information released by Chris Simcox and the MCDC organization it is estimated he has collected at least $320,000.00 for this fence project. There is currently 2.2 miles of barbed wire fence We wanted to know what does it cost, by the foot, to build a barbed wire fence. Here ya go... Total for the fence so far, $14,171.52. Chris has $305,828.48 left sitting in his pocket and now he wants $55,000,000.00 MORE?

""American Patrol - Thousands of Americans have donated hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars, to build a fence on the border to stop illegal aliens. One man mortgaged his home and donated $120,000 that otherwise would have gone to Disabled American Veterans. Chris Simcox continues to sell the plan as an Israeli- style fence when in fact the only thing built is a five- strand barbed wire livestock fence that a rancher says won't keep illegals out. "I have warned from the beginning not to donate money to any such effort until the promoters produce a building permit that includes the specifications as being sold by those promoters," said Glenn Spencer of American Patrol. Spencer has property on the border in Arizona.""

Chris Simcox, now part of the Declaration Alliance, a group linked to neocons, is now seeking $55 million to complete 70 miles of Israeli- style fence in Arizona. According to Glenn Spencer of American Patrol, Simcox's people are now claiming that the fourteen- foot poles put up on the Ladd Ranch are "vehicle barriers." The poles, placed fifteen feet apart, are about two inches in diameter. "Those poles might stop a tricycle, but only if ridden by a two- year- old," Spencer commented.
