According to the new survey from Monmouth University, the surprise Republican nominee is only 10 points behind Coons, drawing 41 percent of the vote. In a previous Monmouth poll conducted two weeks ago, O'Donnell trailed by 19 points. But the latest Monmouth survey differs substantially from two other recent polls, including a Farleigh Dickinson survey released Thursday that showed a 21-point advantage for Coons and a CNN/Time poll released earlier this month that indicated a 19-point lead for Coons. The latest Monmouth poll surveyed 1,171 voters between October 25-27 and carries a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. If O'Donnell is even close to the bearded communist, then Dick Morris (and badeye) will likely be proven right with huge GOP victories across the country. Obama has really blown it this week. Going on the John Stewart show was ill- advised. The President of the United States looked subservient to Stewart. The Kendricks Meeks thing is beyond belief. It will surely work to suppress Democrat voters -- how much remains to be seen. Reagan won in 84 because Carter was incompetent. The GOP won the House in 94 because the Democrats were corrupt (the House post office scandal, etc.) The Democrats won in 2006, because the GOP acted like Democrats, spending money like crazy. The Democrats will be tossed next week because socialism doesn't work and a new generation of Americans has figured this out. Obama was the first President from outside the South and West to be elected in 50 years. He may very well be the last one for another 50 years.
