On Monday while championing his disastrous economic puzzle, President Obama chided Republicans for driving the economy into the ditch and then standing by while Democrats pulled it out but now that progress has been made he said, “we can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class up front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us, they can come for the ride but they gotta sit in the back.” It was better being in the ditch, Obama must have ignored his GPS, at least the Republicans didn’t drive the economy off the cliff. When Democrat-Socialist took control of the Congress in 2008 unemployment was 4.6% during George Bush’s Watch and we had 52 consecutive months of steady job growth. Since “Hoax & Chains” has become President unemployment nears 10% the economy has shed 4 million jobs, underemployment remains stubbornly high at 18.3% with 43.3 million Americans now receiving food stamps. Housing prices are falling again, consumer confidence remains at levels usually associated with a recession—today the government is expected to announce that economic growth was only about 2% in July, August and September, less than half of what is normal in even a modest recovery.

Note falling GDP "before" the Democrats took control of the Congress and rising GDP since Obama came into office. And private sector job growth - Obama vs. Bush
Since “Hoax & Chains” has become President unemployment nears 10% the economy has shed 4 million jobs, underemployment remains stubbornly high at 18.3% with 43.3 million Americans now receiving food stamps.

$200 million? Yep. Their last budget was the 2007 budget.

The FY 2007 deficit was $244 BILLION http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_United_States_federal_budget Now look at what they had when Bush took office.
Bush signed the 2008 and 2009 budgets. He didn't have to sign them. The Democrats did not have the votes to override his veto. Bush vetoed 10 bills in his eight years in office, by far the least of any President in the last 100+ years. Contrast to Jerry Ford who vetoed 66 bills in his 2+ years in office. When Bush had a GOP House and Congress, they spent money like crazy. 89% of GOP House Members and 85% of GOP Senators voted for Medicare part D, which will add $1 TRILLION to the deficit over the next 10 years. Yes, the Democrats are horrible but so was George Bush and his Republican Congress. I am hoping, and voted for divided government and gridlock. That is the only thing that we have left.
