International News Title: DNA Shower Security System Test in Amsterdam Amsterdam, The Netherlands – The DNA shower is one of the latest invention in crime prevention. The system was installed in a high risk area in the metropolis Amsterdam in the Netherlands, within 8 weeks the crime rate sank with just over 60 percent, an incredible high success rate. The system works fairly simple, the moment a burglary is conducted the systems gets activated by the staff, either via a switch at the counter or a remote controller. The system is installed at the exit of the establishment, as soon as movement is detected the DNA spray, a mist of colorless, odorless and nearly non-detectable liquid, is sprayed on anything moving in close vicinity of the DNA shower system. Why DNA? The term DNA was used as a marketing gadget, criminals know that DNA analysis solves crimes. Being sprayed by a DNA spray could solve the crime, fast and efficient. At the police station the liquid sprayed on skin, hands, face, cloths or any item can be detected under special ultra violet light. This places the person at the crime scene, and suspects can be immediately confronted with the facts. The liquid will stay active for close to 5 days, and even with washing or scrubbing it is not possible to remove the product; the fluid enters the top layers of the skin. The Amsterdam police together with the research institute are very pleased with the remarkable high results. Rhine Consulting Group (RCG) which produces the system said to be extremely optimistic about the options offered for retailers. Every retaler also installed a large shield next to the point of entry to warn alleged criminals about the new security system. Thieves and thugs have been avoiding this brand new system, but most probably have moved their operations elsewhere.
