Title: Workers Say Boss Gave Them Marked Ballots (Republican choice marked already on them)

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (CN) - Five black employees of Birmingham-based Altec Industries say the company owner told them to vote Republican, and gave them pre-marked ballots during a visit by Sen. Jeff Sessions. The workers add, in separate federal complaints, that when Barack Obama was elected president, "an employee drew cross hairs or a target on a picture of President Obama and posted it in the workplace." In their discrimination complaints, all five employees claim they were "subjected to different terms and conditions of employment because of their race," including denial of promotions and training. They say they were given a different dress code than white workers and denied breaks that white employees enjoyed. On its company website, Altec describes itself as "a leading provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications and contractor markets. We provide products and services in over 100 countries throughout the world." Plaintiff Australia Harris claims that "In or around October 2008, Senator Jeff Sessions came to the facility where plaintiff was employed and talked to the employees about voting Republican. Plaintiff and other employees were informed they had to attend the rally with Senator Sessions. In addition, the owner of the company informed the employees they should vote Republican and gave the employees pre-marked ballots." Harris claims that when he wore an Obama shirt after the presidential election, a white co-worker told him to "take that damn shirt off." He says the co-worker told him that the "O" on his shirt "was the perfect circle for a cross hair. I can reach you from 500 yards away," and added, "I'm not kidding." Plaintiff Charles Nelson says Altec did not stop white employees from wearing "racially offensive" Confederate flag insignia on their clothing, but he says Altec "condoned and tolerated the racial harassment" and "has a habit and/or practice of discrimination against African Americans." After complaining about the discrimination, Miracle Walters, Shantavia Brown, Derrick McDaniel and Nelson say they were all fired due to "downsizing," and some were not allowed to return to their offices to collect personal belongings. Harris says he was not fired, but was given a more demanding job after his complaints. The plaintiffs seek lost wages and punitive damages for racial discrimination, retaliation, hostile workplace, and emotional distress.

This is clearly an example of a person who could honestly state after shooting themselves squarely between the eyes leaving a grapefruit size exit wound at the back of the head that it was only a flesh wound, and nothing to be worried about. A waste is indeed a terrible thing to mind.
You have to resort to personal attacks because you were caught editorializing an article's title. Hypocrisy on your part given your post not to do such. Why tell them to vote for Republican candidates if the ballots were already marked for them? They could have been marked for Propositions and or Bonds related to the trucking industry. Very common for industries to educate employees on props and issues that relate to the industry they work in. A bigger issue is: Where did the ballots come from?

Yeah, right, that article that says the workers were given ballots with the Repug candidate chosen for them, didn't say that, but it did. I expressed exactly the information in my comment in the title block that is in the piece. Show me where I said I said I have to represent the exact same facts in the exact same words? I said in my childishly simple to understand explanation I said - in brackets- the exact same information that was in the piece. And this is done by me and many others to clarify for others reading a re- posted piece what the article is about. I clearly said the bracketed verbiage is my comment with information in or about the piece that was accurate. I never ever said I cut and pasted anything. So, Sand, is 2+2=2X the same thing as 2 times 2? They both equal four. Is 3A times 3X = 3(A+X) I realize you have to know algebra to know how to factor equations, but Sand, words are symbols used to express facts. You can use your own words to represent the same facts someone used their words to represent. I am just astounded what a completely ignorant dumb shit you are.

Weird that the workplace or workers have election ballots. If the workers and employer had ballots outside the polling places. That should have been a significant issue to the Secretary of State in Alabama.
