Not a bad thing. I've seen 'ask the moderator threads help with communication, but I could of predicted this first one to be slug fest.
Want a suggestion? have an 'ask Stone, anything' thread, retire the old one at 1k posts, and let people start the new ones when the 1k thrush hold is reached.
You are going to have to have the open door policy thread for a while before it works like you want it too.
But it is a good thing to do. What you see here is pent up frustration because people don't feel like you are listening. Listen and communicate, and you will get something out of it too.
