Revenue is 3.2% lower than last year, which was already at record lows. It may get worse next year as property taxes decline to reflect fallen property values. Cutbacks in government spending are also at record levels. The fiscal bloodshed you hear about in Los Angeles and New York -- not to mention state governments -- is probably taking place in your home town. Notice how the lies just dont' add up. How can revenue be down across the board 3.2% if the economy grew at a rate of 2.6%? Dems = World Class Liars

Falling property tax receipts probably.
Counties collect property taxes. Cities collect sales taxes. If revenues are down 3.2% that is sales taxes. That means it's safe to say consumption is down 3.2%, about, over last year.
