Much of Little Texas' initial chart success was based on the band's country-pop sound. By contrast, the 21st century edition is hewing closer to its honky-tonk roots. "The biggest revolution overnight was Gretchen (Wilson), John Rich and those guys," Howell said. "(Wilson) made it legal to honky-tonk again."
Little Texas expects to release a live album in September and a new studio album early next year.
