Are you upset because you were booked into the Motel 8 next to the only diet frozen yogurt bar in So Cal that wouldnt take your post-op tranny coupon? Poor thing.
I know you're lurking, so here's a news flash...I'm not the one who had my ass handed to me today...bad spelling, or grammer, I'm still here! lmaoay....
And hey, I'm a very good chess player if you ever want to do a game. If you know how to play that is.
Of course I know how, you just never asked, but I don't have the patience it takes to play chess, too slow and nerve racking, poker is my game, I'm at my best when the stakes get high and the players begin to sweat. But my son and g- son are very good chess players, they've played all their lives.
Nice. My Dad, and of course by extension my Mom were top tournament bridge players in New England. Which I never took to, but I am extremely good at poker.
I figured you were a good people reader. Folks oft times have different skills, and you obviously have some smarts. I don't have to agree with you all the time to see that.
My biggest fault in poker is I'll deliberately start flubbing hands if I am doing too good. It's nice winning, but not at the expense of losing friends.
Once my folks weren't invited to play at a big event and he joked to my Mom that they were going to have to start losing every now and then for people to want them there.
I force myself to be good at chess. I am an instinctive person that does well winging it, trusting my ability to read a situation and know what to do when I have to react.
Chess makes me look moves ahead and to do the math. It makes me a better planner, and I've gotten much better then when I was on the chess team in high school.
We have several old smart guys who play chess at a place in Eugene and they have been cleaning my clock until spring when I fought them to a draw a few times and even won twice.
The other day I beat the best guy, in fact just before I posted to you. It was fun, as he's a bad loser and left with arms waving.
He's beat me since so he's back to normal. Until I win again that is.
