ANOTHER College Denies Christine O'Donnell Attended Despite Her Claim

Another university is bringing Christine O'Donnell's self-professed education history into question Wednesday, as Claremont Graduate University, a school that the Delaware Senate candidate claims she attended, has told Talking Points Memo that they have no record of her being there.

"Claremont Graduate University has no student or education record for an individual named Christine O'Donnell," Rod Leveque, a spokesman for Claremont told TPM Tuesday, despite O'Donnell's inclusion of the school on her LinkedIn education history.

A similar response had been given earlier to blogger and radio producer Gary Scott, who thought to inquire based on the news that O'Donnell had not even officially received her undergraduate degree from Farleigh Dickinson University until earlier this month.

TPM did a little digging and found that her campaign site might give a more accurate depiction of her involvement with a conservative think tank called the Claremont Institute, which has no relationship to the Claremont Graduate University that she has filed under the education section of her LinkedIn profile.

A search of the website finds that O'Donnell did receive a Lincoln Fellowship from the Institute in 2002, though her inclusion of the word "graduate" seems to raise a few questions, as it goes unmentioned on the award's description.

On Tuesday, Greg Sargent of the Washington Post reported that O'Donnell had also filed "University of Oxford" on the education section of her LinkedIn profile, when the true nature of her tenure there appears to be as a student of a Phoenix Institute course that had simply rented out space at the school.

These two new discrepancies also come in the wake of an earlier controversy surrounding O'Donnell's relationship with a former employer, the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, and her taking of courses at Princeton University. O'Donnell ended up suing ISI for $150,000, claiming lost "earning power" due to the fact that they had not given her ample time to complete coursework at the university. At the time she had only audited one undergraduate class. Subscribe to *Tea Party On Parade*

Hey Skip, I see you've glommed on to the Senate candidate from Deleware for your "biting" satire. But don't you live in CA?

Anyhoo, here's a tip for you: If you're going to make fun of someone else's qualifications (or lack thereof), or point out their foibles, it helps to have some "cred" yourself.

And being an 18 year old pimply faced kid posting from mommy's basement doesn't quite cut it.

A good start for you would be to go to work on getting that G.E.D.

It's a challenge, but you can do it!

Go Skip, GO!

Your time would be better spent trying to find competent candidates to run instead of criticizing private citizens who DARE to discuss those that are currently offered and being found sorely lacking. And you keep forgetting ..... the candidates ARE supposed to show reasons why we should vote for them not vice versa.

Well look what we have here:

'Explosive Allegations' To Be Leveled Against Whitman'

By: CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney

(CNN) – Beware the nanny.

California GOP gubernatorial nominee Meg Whitman is facing a new hurdle Wednesday as her housekeeper of nine years prepares to make what are being called "explosive allegations" about the former eBay CEO.

The housekeeper has hired famed attorney Gloria Allred, and will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. ET to "tell how she suffered as a long time Latina household employee in Meg Whitman's home and why she is filing a claim against Ms. Whitman," according to a statement released by Allred's office.

Whitman has previously beat back allegations she was involved in a 2007 shoving altercation with an employee at eBay's California headquarters after the Silicon Valley chief felt unprepared for an upcoming media interview. The incident reportedly led to a $200,000 settlement.

Even more 'amazing' is the suggestion the GOP needs to find 'more competent candidates' when just about everyone admits the GOP is going to win in a landslide that could easily be the largest in US history.

Right now, according to the polling data, GOP picks up 73 seats in the House alone. Whats interesting to note is 160 districts ARE NOT BEING POLLED. We simply don't know what the numbers are in these districts. But when you realize Barney Frank might lose his seat...anyone can get fired this time around on the Democrats side of the aisle. Anyone.

Then there is the Senate. Right now, its pretty obvious the GOP will pick up 8 seats. A 9th that should be a victory, but is within the margin of error is Angle v Reid. After that, you have 5 Senate seats accurately described as 'toss ups'.

Mid term election cycle, wildly unpopular Administration policies, even more wildly unpopular Congress and Senate controlled by the Democrats...GOP turnout is going to be HUGE, perhaps the largest in history as it relates to mid term election cycles, and dwarf the Democrats in a tidal wave. Every pollster admits this, even those that claim the Democrats will retain control of the House and/or Senate.

And thats where those five 'toss up' Senate races go into 'favors GOP' column. The turn out alone should win three of those seats minimum.

We'll see. But right now, 33 days out...this is a disaster for the Democratic Party nobody 18 months ago saw coming.

This is not the first time Allred has injected herself into a campaign in the closing days. In 2003, a former stuntwoman hired Allred to pursue claims of sexual assault and defamation against now-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. That suit was dismissed.

it's amazing just how desperate the democrats are, no one is going to believe this silly last minute scandal crap and Allred's involvement demonstrates it's complete bullshit.

A new Los Angeles Times/USC poll shows that Democratic candidate Jerry Brown is leading Republican Meg Whitman, 49% to 44%, in the California governor's race.

Brown is strongly favored by women and Latinos, but younger voters are only marginally in his camp.

The survey also shows that Republicans Whitman and Carly Fiorina, who's trying to unseat U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer, have not yet convinced crucial groups of voters that their backgrounds as businesswomen make them good fits for seats in government.

Meg Whitman has some explaining to do on illegal immigrant housekeeper

Pardon me, but I have a few questions here on California's tough-on-immigration gubernatorial candidate, Meg Whitman, who seems to have had an illegal immigrant in her house for nine years.

TalkBackLopez_187x105Is that not the stuff of great fiction? Whitman says the housekeeper, Nicandra Diaz, had passed herself off as legal and had papers to back her up.

All right. That's believable.

Whitman says the woman acknowledged in 2009 that she was undocumented, fearing that the truth would be dug up in the heat of the campaign.

All right, maybe.

Whitman and her husband were shocked, says Whitman, and immediately fired the housekeeper.

Also believable, even though the housekeeper claims, through attorney Gloria Allred, that Whitman knew she didn't have papers.

But wait a minute. The no-nonsense candidate who opposes a path to legal citizenship, and wants the government to go after businesses that hire illegal immigrants, didn't feel the need to report the housekeeper to authorities when she confessed?

What did she think might happen? That the housekeeper would go back where she came from? That someone else would hire her not knowing she was illegal?

Or did she maybe think to herself, privately, of course, that the housekeeper was a decent person trying to live a better life in a country where wealthy people like Whitman are all too happy to hire them, and not terribly inclined to probe their backgrounds?

What did the Whitmans pay the housekeeper, by the way?

Did they offer health insurance, or let the public pick up the tab at a county hospital, which many illegal immigrants use as a doctor's office.

Do the Whitmans have any other domestics whose papers should be checked?

Does Jerry Brown?

Help me out, readers.

Anybody out there have any more questions for Meg?

ANOTHER College Denies Christine O'Donnell Attended Despite Her Claim

It's amazing we see all this media attention to the college records for a CANDIDATE for elective office for a state so little you can almost piss across it,yet nobody in the media seems to be able to figure out how to even ask anybody what name the current president went to school under,or get ANY of his records.

It is driving these elitists nuts that large numbers of the public are STILL supporting candidates that weren't picked by the party machine,no matter how much the parties do to destroy and defame them.

Your time would be better spent trying to find competent candidates to run

You mean people like Boy Jorge Bush,Goober Gore,John Wayne Kerry,John McLunatic,Uncle Joe Biden,Maxine Waters,Alcee Hastings, anybody named Kennedy,Trent "Power Sharing" Lott,Lady Lindsey Graham,Bob and Giddy Dolt,Sheila Jackson "Man on Mars" Lee,etc, etc, etc?

Bozo the freaking clown would be a superior candidate to any of the usual suspects.

The housekeeper has hired famed attorney Gloria Allred,

Ya just GOTTA love a lead in like that. That is the equivalent of saying "famed humanitarian Joseph Stalin.....",except that Stalin was more competent.

What is she famous for, other than holding press conferences to throw grenades and then settling out of court? Name the famous court cases she has tried before a jury and won.

She has such a abrasive personality and the obvious charm of a rattlesnake in heat that I'd love to see her try a jury trial. She'd piss off the jury so badly they would never be able to successfully defend The Baby Jesus against rape and murder charges.

and will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. ET to "tell how she suffered as a long time Latina household employee in Meg Whitman's homeL

Yeah, that's why she only worked there for 9 years, right?

and why she is filing a claim against Ms. Whitman," according to a statement released by Allred's office.

No,she is filing a claim because she has been PAID to file a claim by the Dims, and because Allred has told her that Whitman is low-hanging fruit against bogus charges like this because she is in the middle of a campaign and doesn't have the time to waste going to trial,so will settle out of court to get her to shut up.

The illegal alien (BTW,WHY is she still here?) wins because she gets money for nothing and has most likely been guaranteed she will get a Green Card by the DNC.

Allred wins because once again she gets to jump in front of a camera, gets paid for really doing nothing, and has no actual clients she needs to defend anyhow,so crap like this helps her fill her days.

The DNC wins because no matter if the housekeeper admits she was lying and shuts up,the typical voter will remember the charges were made, not the details of how it ended.

Hell,in the long run, even Whitman may win. IMHO she is a total waste of oxygen, but having people like Allred working against her in public would be enough to get me to the polls to vote for her if I lived in Ca. There just might be a backlash to this that the Dims didn't count on.

I guess by default that means the GOP talking points are that their candidates are entitled to lie about their credentials.

You mean like making claims that "I flew fighters during the VN war,and volunteered to go to VN","I'm just a West Texas girl",and "I was a successful businessman."?

One of my personal favorites is "I am against illegal immigration" by John McLunatic.

Allred tried it with Arnold, remember? Stunt woman claimed sexual harrassment. It was dropped, and as we know Arnold won. So no, it doesn't 'always work'.

And in this unique political climate, its having the opposite effect. See Rubio in Floriduh. Or O'Donnell, who's closed six points since Maher's bullshit. Just two examples, there are quiet a few more. Like Grayson in floriduh, for example.

The way Whitman utterly destroyed this one, lightning fast, has won the election for her. Inadvertently, all this idiot Alred has done is displayed Whitman is an exception Chief Executive Officer, one that can make decisions quickly and effectively, and one that has a keen eye for detail, as the produced records on this maid demonstrate. And of course, there is the exactness of her record keeping.

Whitman took this attack, flipped it, and won the election. JMHO.

Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit.

An Illegal Alien just cost Meg Whitman 119 Million Dollars!

Translation: "No on Prop 187 and No on the Law in Arizona."
An actual Meg Whitman for Governor Campaign sign.

You've probably heard that Billionaire Meg has spent 119 MILLION dollars of her own money trying to become governor of California; the highest amount spent to date by a candidate. You should know by now that she's a pro illegal alien advocate and a disciple of John McCain.

Today, courtesy of the slimy, democrat/Jerry Brown loving lawyeress Gloria Allred we hear that for nine years Meg hired an illegal alien as a nanny/housekeeper. The insinuation is that she fired the nanny only to not be found out because of her run for governor and the poor 'migrant' claims of 'mistreatment'. .....at $23.00 per hour!!!
(Gosh, Meg, plenty of us Californian NATIVES would like a job that paid that much!)

Mistreated? Write that one off...EVERY illegal alien believes they are 'mistreated' in the USA!

Dismissed for political expediency? Stranger things happen every day.

Well, we don't know yet if those charges are true. But anyone should be able to realize a couple of facts from what we do know.

1. Whitman is too dumb to be a governor if, in NINE years, she didn't know this woman was an illegal alien. (And Jerry Brown is NO better!)

2. Whitman has a history of pandering to the Hispanic lobby and not giving a WHIT for the rule of law, even going so far to denounce the people's vote for California's proposition 187 and opposing Arizona's SB1070.

Why is a poorly educated, limited English speaker preferred in her home to care for her children instead of a CALIFORNIAN who needs the job???

The elitists prefer them, that's why.
But why???
When the threat of deportation hangs over an alien's head, it's easier to get them to 'comply'. If their English is limited and they can't read, all the better, they'll know less of their boss's business.
Why hire a hard headed AMERICAN who might just tell someone what a phony they work for???

Today, The OC Register has some fascinating analysis in their article, Who wins, loses from mass immigration to California? Political Elitists like Meg Whitman is who!
...until today .... her beloved illegal alien might just cost her the election.

[snips]'CHEAP MAIDS AND NANNIES' - Immigrants' effect on the California lifestyle - No state and almost no developed economy has absorbed so many immigrant workers so quickly as California. The arrival of more than 5 million foreign workers over the past four decades raises a basic question: Who wins, and who loses?

The biggest gainers from immigration may be middle- and upper-class natives, particularly women. Immigration has helped make cheap personal services a common feature of middle-class life in California.

University of Chicago economist Patricia Cortes found that prices for housekeeping, gardening, child care and other services fell during the 1980s and '90s in cities where many low-skilled immigrants settled.

As a result women with professional or doctoral degrees spent more time at work. In economic terms, it's a simple tradeoff: A female physician, lawyer or professor earns more money by hiring someone else to clean her house, do her laundry or care for her children.
.... the more schooling a woman had, the more likely she was to hire domestic help. About 3 percent of women with high school diplomas hired housekeepers; the rate rose to 15 percent of women with a college degree and 25 percent of those with graduate degrees.

____________

Meg Whitman's admiration for Obama's point man, socialist radical Van Jones should have been enough to turn off ALL republicans during the primary!

Meg Whitman: "I’m A Huge Fan Of Van Jones.......Van Jones Is ‘Doing a Marvelous Job’"

Now we are left with dumb and dumber to vote for, except for ONE!

He is a genius at getting elected though. I think he only lost one race and that was for President.

Remember, this was in the 1960's in Ca,and he was running against people like Angela Davis. Who wouldn't look good running against people like that?

Also consider that many of us who are conservatives were registered Dims back then because right up to about that point it was possible to be both a Democrat and a conservative? Ronald Reagan was a Democrat back then. So was I.

Now I seriously doubt Reagan would be a Republican if he were still alive, and I know for a fact that I'm not.

Just picture a live Reagan or a live Barry Goldwater heading up the Tea Party now. Imagine all the strokes on both sides of the aisle in congress when this is announced, and then imagine trying to not laugh out loud at the news.

PLUS,the whole "I don't need a state car,a state driver,or to live in the governor's mansion!" appealed to both the left and the right. We didn't know at that time he didn't want those people around so he could have his boyfriends without putting them out in public.

Remember the big "romance" between him and lesbian (we didn't know then) Linda Ronstadt? It was basically a preview of the Boy Jorge/Laura Bush marriage.

ust remember, before they became President, Jimmy Carter created more jobs than Ronald Reagan.

Yeah,and they were all government jobs. Jobs like social worker,legal aide,welfare worker,police,prison guards,unemployment workers,etc,etc,etc.

Government does NOT create real jobs, only government jobs. Government employees create nothing that can be sold for a profit. Other than congresscritters,Senators, and Presidents, that is. They sell their offices.

When,if ever,is it going to dawn on you that ALL government employees get paid with tax money, and that even though they also pay income taxes, when you reach the point, not far off now, where there are more government employees drawing paychecks from taxpayer contributions than there are non-government employees contributing to the system, the system collapeses. It is a giant pyramid scheme.

ONLY non-government businesses create REAL jobs.

O'Donnell nonprofit failed to file required tax forms

Savior's Alliance for Lifting the Truth could lose tax-exempt status

WASHINGTON — A nonprofit evangelical group founded and run by Republican Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell of Delaware is at risk of losing its tax-exempt status for failing to file required federal tax forms.

IRS documents reviewed by The Associated Press show the group — Savior's Alliance for Lifting the Truth — is on a list of organizations threatened with revocation of its nonprofit status next month because it has not filed returns for three consecutive years.

O'Donnell founded the group in 1996 and is listed as its current president on the financial disclosure documents she filed with the U.S. Senate this summer. The alliance is a pro-abstinence outreach group aimed at young Christians.

A campaign spokesman said the group is looking into the matter.

No,but it is like saying "No matter how bad she is,and she is really bad,she is still better than the Dim alternative."

Which is just further proof that the One Party Rule we live under now is totally corrupt. We could get better candidates by picking names at random out of phone books.

Farms might as well be owned by the government. The government subsidizes them, tells they what to grow and what to not grow, and even pays them to not grow crops. Maybe the biggest welfare program in the country.

Besides,Jim-mah never created a single job on that farm. He inherited it and it was always managed by someone else.

If there is a bigger fool in the world running around without his keeper than Jim-Mah Cawtur,I am not aware of it. There should be people with butterfly nets chasing him around 24/7.

As mayor of Oakland he did manage to attract business and investment to Oakland.

And how and why?

ONLY by committing to solid conservative principles of enforcing law & order, and deregulation. Something Brown and you Leftists normally eschew.

"By adopting a more law-and-order, redevelopment, conventional orientation, it showed Jerry was not Governor Moonbeam any more," said Bruce Cain, director of the UC Washington Center in the nation's capital.

Brown used his influence, political savvy and long-established relationships with business leaders to lure investors at the height of the dot-com boom. He moved projects through the maze of bureaucratic hurdles and environmental regulations quicker than any of his predecessors -- and to the chagrin of his pro-environment friends.

It is the unintended consequences (I hope unintended) of the same policies you and your ilk want to bring to the country.

Just what are those, "policies" me and my ilk "want to bring to the country"?

While she was laying off employees she was also making sure she was getting everything for herself that she could. I guess you expect her to act differently as a politician?

No,and I am shocked that even somebody as drifty as you would even assume her Dim opponent wouldn't be worse.

That's true, we elected Reagan.

Don't lie about it. We all know you were never smart enough to vote for Reagan.

The media has already been busted for collusion. You have heard of the "Journ-O-List"? If not, Google it.

Right. The media colluded at the requests of both parties, dummy.

The Tea Party is supposedly 'leaderless' for a reason.

You don't know what a banana slug is?

The UC Santa Cruz has the banana slug as their mascot. I thought it was hilarious as an outsider looking in.

I thought it was the high school, but thank you Google.

The banana slug has no known predators, I'm told.

Santa Cruz,....no wonder the dope fly's there : )

I could have used a toke to cope with the nights.

The seals in Halfmoon bay get horny around midnight
and its honking,..and fighting until near 5:00 am.
You get about 1 hours quiet,
Then the birds awaken and the racket ends any hope of sleeping : )

We live in a temperate rain forest and these animals are everywhere.

This is an actual six picture, and I've seen them bigger.

We chose a Slug Queen in Eugene every year at the Eugene Celebration. It is a popular pageant, and many men and women compete every year for the honor.

Perennial favorite contestant Daniel Borson wins the hearts and minds of Eugenites with his lyrics

A shirt with this logo in Eugene gets lots of laughs, and should never be worn any weekend the Ducks are playing this PAC 10 rival. Bad things man, bad things.

Just remember, if you ever run into a guy costumed like that who makes unwelcome and aggressive advances, salt works wonders to deal with the problem.

Indeed, but perhaps the saddest part of it all is despite the crushing load of things to remember to remedy various situations, there still is nothing out there to deal with the heartbreak of psoriasis.
