Great...I'm in SFO tomorrow and Thursday and in LA Friday... And last night I dreamt that a building collapsed around me...
Walk the tightrope between Oakland mayor Moonbeam's constituents, and collapsing buildings. I just watched the debate between Whitman and Moonie at UC Davis. Moonbeams jobs plan, of green jobs really sounded lame.
The San Bruno gas pipe explosion (and I just this week end put in a new 500 gal tank with pipeline, just sayin ;} was attributed to the San Andreas having a 1.0 richter the day before. San Bruno sits right atop the San Andreas. And i remember coming home from a Big Day Science Teaching Class and the wife had the TV on to the World Series Earthquake. You know, the one where the top bridge highway fell on the bottom. That said, we're over due for the Richter 10/11 on the West Coast and the New Madrid. Avg for the New Madrid is 167 years.
