VIDEO of Christine O'Donnell: I'm going to stop the whole country from having sex
A Democratic source unearths video of Christine O'Donnell in 2003, answering clearly and unequivocally in the affirmative when asked: "You're going to stop the whole country from having sex?"
At the time, O'Donnell was with the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, a conservative group she later sued for gender discrimination. The exchange, on Scarborough Country on November 13, 2003, is an argument between O'Donnell and Eric Nies, then with the Moment of Hope foundation, about whether to counsel kids to have safe sex:
NIES: I tell them to be careful. You have to wear a condom. You have to protect yourself when you're going to have sex, because they're having it anyway.
NIES: There's nothing that you or me can do about it.
O'DONNELL: The sad reality is -- yes, there is something you can do about it. And the sad reality, to tell them slap on a condom is not --
NIES: You're going to stop the whole country from having sex?
O'DONNELL: Yeah. Yeah!
NIES: You're living on a prayer if you think that's going to happen.
O'DONNELL: That's not true. I'm a young woman in my thirties and I remain chaste.
This exchange has been written about before here and there. But this is the first time video has surfaced of it, making it likely that it will get another round of coverage and some airing on cable, since it reveals rather clearly how ambitious and zealous her abstinence crusade really was.
The entire country is collapsing and the only thing the totalitarian left can do is dig up some prudish statements that have nothing whatsoever to do with the real problems at hand.
Conversely, comments made by O'Donnell's opponent (the Bearded Marxist) are relevant because Marxism and other leftist pathologies are the problem.
I've come to the conclusion that many elements of the totalitarian left WANT to collapse the country.
NO doubt... But then so do several elements of the Bush/Rockefellian GOP. Without their help, 0bama NEVER sees the light of the Oval Office.
I'm not so sure.
While the Bushes, Rockefellers et. al. certainly did not have the nation's best interests at heart, I don't believe they wanted to outright destroy it.
Rather, I think they wanted to use it as a vehicle to a one-world, super government. The Rockefeller "donation" of the property in NYC that the U.N. sits on supports that.
The Left that we see now I think has it's roots in the 60s radical movement. Ayers, Dorhn and others - many former radicals are now "mainstream" with ties to the Zero administration.
They seek to first destroy, then "rebuild" - only this time they'll supposedly have their "perfect" socialist/Marxist utopia.
